Did you know we can prove with science and reason that pre-born humans are equal to born humans?
It’s true. Life begins at conception/fertilization. This is not a religious belief. It is a scientific fact. We can also prove the equality of born and pre-born humanity.
We have the truth. Learn it, know it and share it.
Science proves human life begins at conception/fertilization:
It is a scientific fact that human life begins at conception, another way to say it is that human life begins at fertilization. From the moment of conception or fertilization, when a male gamete or sperm unites with a female gamete or ovum to form a single cell – a zygote, this new cell is a new, living human being with completely distinct new and unique human DNA, completely different from both parents. This new single cell human being needs only a proper environment and adequate nutrition to grow and mature through all its various stages of human development. And it will – unless it is killed by violence or illness. Every single one of us began at a moment of conception or fertilization. It is not a religious belief, but rather an inarguable scientific fact that human life begins at conception/fertilization. Sadly, many people have never had this explained to them. We can teach them.
Reason proves pre-born humans are equal to born humans:
While pre-born humans and born humans do have real differences, none of these differences make born humans more valuable than pre-born humans. We need to get good at explaining this to others.
It’s quite simple really.
There are four differences between born and pre-born humans. We can remember these differences with the simple acronym SLED.
So how are born and pre-born humans different…
Size – Born humans are generally larger in size than pre-born humans.
Level of Development – Born humans are generally more developed than pre-born humans.
Environment – Born humans live in a different environment than pre-born humans.
Degree of Dependency – Born humans are generally less dependent than pre-born humans.
These are real differences between born and pre-born humans, but none of these differences make born humans more valuable than pre-born humans.
This fact is easy to see when we understand that these four differences also occur between some born humans and other born humans, and we would never say that these differences among born humans means there is any difference in value.
For example…
Size – Some born humans are larger than other born humans. Is someone six feet tall more valuable than someone who is five feet tall? Of course not. A difference is size does not mean a difference in value.
Level of Development – Some born humans are more developed than other born humans. Are teenagers more valuable than infants because they are more developed? Nope. A difference in level of development does not mean a difference in value.
Environment – Some born humans live in a different environment than other born humans. Does where someone lives diminish his or her value as a human being? Never. A difference in environment does not mean a difference in value.
Degree of Dependency – Some born humans are more dependent than other born humans. Infants are generally far more dependent than adults, does that mean infants have less human value than adults? No. In fact, not only is the human value of infants and adults equal, but most people generally agree that those who are weakest, most vulnerable, and most dependent, have an even greater right to our protection than those who are stronger, less vulnerable, and less dependent. A difference in degree of dependency does not mean a difference in value.
Born and pre-born humans are equal and have equal human rights that need to be enshrined into law. When we do not treat pre-born and born humans as equal, we are contributing to the problem of why pre-born children are not protected by our laws and why 60 million pre-born children have been killed by abortion since 1973. We must act in accordance with the reality that pre-born humans and born humans are of equal value.
We should have no doubt about the equality of born and pre-born humans, but there will be many who do object to this and this is exactly where we need to engage in conversation to effectively change hearts and minds. We have the truth on our side and honestly flying our flags at half-staff for the 3,000 daily pre-born victims of abortion naturally provides opportunities to share this essesntial truth with others.
